Hi, my name is Irena Vučić, I am 26 years old, and I come from Serbia. I am very passionate about motorsport, especially Formula 1 and Moto GP. Currently I am working for a leading company in Serbia and the Balkan region that broadcasts podcasts about all kinds of sports: Formula 1, MotoGP, NFL, waterpolo, volleyball, and basketball. The name of the company is Infinity Lighthouse (you can check it on the website https://www.infinitylighthouse.com/ or at YouTube Infinity Lighthouse). Apart from recording podcasts, we also do a bunch of other things in order to promote motorsport. We write and translate books about Formula 1 and MotoGP, drivers and their lives. We travel a lot around the whole Balkan region and visit book fairs (we have been in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Saarajevo, and Zagreb, and we have a plan to visit Podgorica, Skopje, and Pula this and next year). While working here in Serbia, I am trying to build my career in motorsport abroad. The best way to do that was by volunteering, which I did a lot for the past couple of years. As someone with a lot of volunteering experience, I can bring all of my knowledge to the event that I might be part of (my biggest wish is to volunteer at 24 Hours of Le Mans). With the years that I have spent volunteering, I have learned what it takes to organize such an important event and how big and important a role the volunteers have.
Motorsport is the number one thing that motivates me. The speed and the excitement around it are something that keeps me motivated to continue to contribute to this amazing sport. I am very motivated when I see people happy when they watch races, and I really want to be a part of an organization that is going to make that happen.
